Wondering...changing eyes on dolls

I was wondering if anyone has experimented with this....I have several Ann Estelle dolls that I have used a prismacolor marker to color their eyes to change the color. The marker comes off the eye with alcohol but not the vinyl. It turns out wonderful and I was wondering if it would work on an AG doll but not brave enough to try!

But I would also be interested in finding out how to change AG's eye color. I have an old Molly that is supposed to be turned into another character and her eyes are all wrong for the character.

I have seen threads before on people who have actually switched the eyes. You can go to certain sites on the internet that sell doll eyes. You would obviously have to make sure they are the right size. I have realized that I might have to eventually did this myseld if I ever want to get the Elizabeth Cole I have always pictured. Its been done before, but its not easy. I believe Ann, kitchyswoman, has done it. You might want to try running a search for it which is up at the top of the page. Good luck!

And Im with the other two, it might not be a good idea to use a marker on an AG! LOL

Could you explain a little more about the marker? I am very curious. Got Pictures too? Would be interetsed in seeing....
